Jonathan Rosenstein, M.D.
After 28+ years practicing primary care pediatrics in the Metrowest area of Boston I am very happy to join with such a nice group of dedicated professionals at Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine.
What I enjoy most about pediatrics are the relationships with the families that I care for. It is very satisfying to help young people with chronic issues such as headaches, abdominal complaints and asthma. It is really fun to help guide new parents navigating infancy. I also enjoy helping families with children with special needs and children and adolescents struggling with anxiety and depression.
I grew up in Los Angeles and attended college in San Diego starting first at San Diego State and then transferring to University of California, San Diego where I graduated with a degree in Animal Physiology with a minor in Psychology. In college while working as a delivery driver for Dominos Pizza I met my future wife 40 years ago when her roommate ordered a pizza and fell asleep leaving my wife to pay for it. I have been dragging her around the country ever since. After college I attended Chicago Medical School and then did my pediatric training at University of California, San Francisco and finishing my residency at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
After completing pediatric residency in 1991 we moved to Massachusetts where we raised our wonderful daughter Hannah and many dogs. In our free time my wife Mary and I enjoy hiking and taking walks in the beautiful nature of New England and when home we like to watch old movies and sports on tv.
