Ellen McCormack, M.D.
I grew up in Colorado and love hiking, camping, and doing anything outdoors. I attended Pomona College in southern California, exploring California’s many National Parks and working with kids in local schools while I studied Chemistry. My enjoyment of science and working with kids prompted me to pursue a career as a pediatrician. I attended medical school at the University of Rochester in upstate New York and completed my pediatric residency in Madison, Wisconsin where I met my fiancé, Alexey, who is an environmental economist. I am thrilled to be joining the wonderful, empathetic team at Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine! I am also excited to live in Massachusetts for the first time. I’m looking forward to everything about the area: the friendly and genuine people, the beautiful forests and mountains, and of course, the kids!
I have always loved kids and feel so lucky to interact with them as part of my job every day. It is so rewarding to be a part of a family’s life throughout their child’s development. At every visit I aim to answer every question you might have and to provide the best care possible to each child/teen and family. I hope to be the best doctor for you by understanding and supporting who you are as an individual and family.
Professionally, I love working with children from the day they are born through their growth into young adults. I have a special place in my heart for caring for adolescents, LGBTQ+ youth, children with complex medical needs, and children with behavioral and developmental needs.
It is a privilege to join the team taking care of your kids; I look forward to watching them grow!
