COVID-19 Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

New News!! Dear Patients and Caregivers: PAM is pleased to report that all non-sensitive  patient lab reports will be released to your child's MyChart account immediately after the results are completed by the lab. Please be aware that some lab results will be available within 24 hours but other labs may take days or even weeks to get results depending on the lab "turnaround" time. Parents/ Caregivers will not be able to see these results in their MyChart account if their child is over 13 years of age due to information restrictions.   Sometimes the results may appear in MyChart prior to the medical provider even seeing the results. Once providers see the results they may send comments if deemed necessary for closure to the patient and family.      As this is a new feature available to patients, please be patient as we work to optimize our communication protocols.  Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine The American Medical Association (AMA) has implemented a new procedure to help with the associated cost of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). As of September 08, 2020 we will be billing your insurance company for this at every office visit. The AMA is working with individual insurance companies to have them pay in full for the charge. However, some plans are billing the patient for this charge. Depending on your insurance plan, you may receive a charge for the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) fee up to $13.00. Thank you for understanding, as we strive to keep all our patients and families safe and healthy!
